Buddie Butterfield is the founder of Buddie's Buddies. After many years of very successful business experience in the Industrial Controls business, Buddie decided to take golf much more serious. He worked to become an Adaptive Golf Foundation certified golf instructor, and achieved that goal in 2001. Although this accomplishment, along with his passion for golf was very fulfilling, Buddie still felt something was missing. In a chance meeting with a physically challenged golfer, Buddie was at first amazed at his accomplishments, and then couldn't help wonder whether training would help him even more. He then started thinking about the millions of handicapped children who would probably never experience the joy of golf. He could not let this stand and just had to give them an opportunity. He founded Buddie's Buddies in 2004 after receiving training from Sonny Ackerman at the Adaptive Golf Foundation in Georgia. Buddie's only other passion, other than golf and his six grandchildren is evident when you check out the "Jayhawk" on his golf cart flag.
