| BVAG will work hand-in-hand with the Kansas City VA Hospital to utilize key elements in the rehabilitation and community re-entry process of disabled veterans and injured military personnel. Just like our original adaptive golf and life skills program www.buddiesbuddies.org, it is designed to enhance the physical, mental, social and emotional well-being of our American Veterans and provide the freedom to those who have fought for ours! The Mission of Buddie's Veterans Adaptive Golf is to enhance the physical, mental, social and emotional well-being of veterans and injured military personnel by providing specialized adaptive golf and life skills instruction. Participants will experience a curriculum where they will learn to use their capabilities to improve themselves both on the golf course and in their everyday lives. Our Vision is to provide a positive, life-enhancing program that assists each VA to benefit and provide support to our American Veterans as they face many new challenges upon returning home. To provide training, resources and support to the Kansas City VA Hospital, recruit and train local PGA Golf Professionals, Therapists and coaches to be certified adaptive golf instructors to coordinate BVAG programs in their community. |
